Today Steve had a speaking engagement at Maywood Middle School, which is the school he attended when he was younger. It has been about 12 years since he attended the school. When he arrived, he saw one of his former Educational Assistants and she was thrilled to see him and shocked that he was at the school. Apparently, the whole staff at the school knew that he was coming to speak. His former teachers were so excited to see him. He spoke to about 100 eighth graders and he would have to say he was pretty impressed with the questions that they asked him. They listened very well and were not shy in speaking up. It was an amazing experience and he would definitely do it again if he had the opportunity.
