"Today Tuesday 18th June at 1:30 p.m., I had the distinct pleasure and honour of attending the graduation ceremony for the Edna Moyle Primary School (North Side Primary). To the graduates Mohyndra, Breanna, Amber, Storm, John, Bradley and Nathan, I offer my sincere congratulations! I know you will all do well at Clifton Hunter High School. Your parents and teachers can be justly proud of the way you performed your individual parts in the program and I thank your parents and teachers for the time and effort invested in each of you. It is unfortunate that holding the function at 1:30 p.m. prevented many of your family, friends and the wider community from enjoying the ceremony and offering you their support. As Amber said in her vote of thanks, “it takes a village to raise the child” and I know many in the community could not attend because of work commitments, but I know they support and care for each of you. Hope to get the time changed for a more appropriate time next year. Again, on behalf of the community I represent, I say heartiest congratulations to each of you.
