Today, UN rapporteur James Anaya, called for an inquiry into murdered and missing Indigenous women.. I know many are on the fence when it comes to an inquiry because it doesnt fall in line with their own agendas, but for those who have been personally affected and for those grassroots who actually care, Now Is the time to rally and continue to pressure the Harper govt into going forward with one. The number of #MMIW is now 1200, I know that the UN rapporteur and myself cant be the only ones that find this unacceptable and believe that people need to be accountable, including the govt and police.
