Today a bird crapped on me. Then a few minutes later a subway door closed on my face. I dont mean to say that it closed *in* my face, as if it shut in front of me and prevented me from traversing the doorway. I mean to say that it literally crushed my eyeglasses and trapped my skull for several seconds, after which I had to pry myself free when it became apparent that the train operator wasnt going to release me. Those two things are still among the better parts of my day.
