Today a clear message was sent to opportunistic parties on campus by students. And that is that their votes are not for sale and that they are not charmed by fancy speeches and freebies. Students are bought with blood, sweat and tears. Students are bought with ultimate servitude and selflessness. Students respond to those leaders who have served them well over many years. Today, students placed their trust in the PYA at Wits and gave them another one-year mandate to handle their affairs. They refused to be associated with zionist opportunism or defunct, red-beret-wearing armchair critics. Today students spoke.
