Today a client of mine told me that they had bought a particular brand of food because it didnt contain any fillers. It was a dry kibble type food. I explained that all kibble has some sort of carb or starch in it (aka: filler). It has to in order to make it. The carbs and/or starches are what holds it together and makes kibble possible whether its corn, wheat, soy, rice, oats, barley, potato, peas etc.. Interesting this article came up today because my client then asked me Well then, which dog food can I feed my dog that doesnt have any fillers? My reply?...Real Food. I wish I had had this article handy...
