Today a terrifyingly drive up the mountains to the high plateau of the Duoro brought us to the small frown of Favaious. We enjoyed fresh baked Portuuese bread & then visited the cooperative which produces over 1 million bottles of the wine regions famous Moscatel. Our traditional,Portuguese dinner was at the beautiful Quinta da Avessada, the largest vineyard in the area, with spectacular views over the plateaus farms. The air turned cooler and a breeze came up, all which helped make the day fantastic!
