Today, a wish came true for a child with a life threatening medical condition and another wish is now fully funded and will begin the planning process. Six years ago, I never imagined the fashion show would ever be this big. I never thought that my little 14-year-old self, with the goal of one day raising $1,000, had the capability to make a substantial impact. Today was the largest fashion show to date. My goal was to raise the same amount as the largest show ever held which totaled over $7,000. I was hoping to break the $8,000 mark but knew that was setting the bar high. Today, the Fashion Show raised over $11,100!!!!! That is over $42,000 raised in the last six years! I cannot thank the Bismarck, Mandan, and Watford City community enough for the amount of support received this year. I hope that this event has proven that age is not a factor when it comes to making an impact in the lives of others.
