Today after 40 years Im finally wishing my Father a Happy Birthday. The years have gone by, but the memories of you have not. The memories of your beautiful smile, the smell of your cologne, listening to country music in your truck, stealing your baseball caps, fishing, getting a bag of candy at the local smoke shop, watching cartoons, flying a kite (as you jumped off the ledge of the cliff - and laughing as you popped your head up), your hugs kisses, your inspiring talk on sticking up for myself (to finally kick the neighborhood bullies butt!) Now, is a new chapter in our lives - a new beginning. I love you Dad.... You dont know it, but you mean the world to me..... xoxo....
