Today, after exactly 12 years, 4 months and a few hours, my awesome husband became a US citizen. It felt like and endless stretch of waiting on our journey; His legal and legit application was ‘separated’ by Immigration in the application process from the rest of our family of five. After spending thousands of dollars, working three jobs and living with a constant expectation of ‘catching up with us’, we are very thankful to the Lord for this. I have never seen him depressed; he always worked hard, stayed positive, kept his focus &faith. He stayed true to his calling and the vision the Lord has given him, inspite of the disappointments. When he took the risk to move us to America and follow the vision, I believe he had extraordinary faith: for himself and for us, at times when we were weak in our faith; I believe he had great faith to come empty handed, but even greater faith to stand strong in the Lord for us when we were weak. I have seen him giving out and pouring out - himself and his resources. He had the gift of special faith to pioneer a church in the most difficult circumstances imaginable. He was determined and faithful to fulfill his calling. The amazing thing is to see him live what he loves. I honor him as a man of great faith and integrity; a man of his word, a man after God’s won heart…Congrats honey! I pray that the harvest will be great!
