Today as everyone knows it is September 11. 13 years ago today my life changed forever. It was one of the most insane days of my life. I lost people who I loved and I lost myself. PTSD took me away from those I loved for years. Angry, Afraid and always wondering when more terrorist attacks would occur. 9/11/2001 haunted me while awake or asleep. I would live at ground zero from September 2, 2001 till January 30th 2002 waiting for them to recover a NYC firefighter named Dennis Mulligan Ladder 2. Once he was found I never returned to ground zero ever again. As a matter of fact I moved from NYC in June 2003 to Orlando, Florida. I tell most people I moved here because I hate the cold, but I moved here out of fear. I do hate the cold, but fear was the motivator. Today fear will not consume me and I will be standing on an overpass to honor all those who died that day and all those affected by that horrific day. I will also be standing there because of the terrorist attack that occurred in Benghazi on 9/11/2012 in honor of The Boys of Benghazi. May They all RIP and may their families one day get justice. All I can say now is NEVER FORGET and God Bless America!!!!
