Today at Produce an older woman came through the drive thru. She rolled down her car window and the worker leaned in. B was diagnosed with a disease that requires a diet of fresh fruits and vegetables. B explained that without the assistance she receives at the produce distribution she wouldnt have enough to eat because she cant afford to purchase what she needs from the produce department of the grocery store. The worker and B shared prayer together. I remain grateful for workers who lean into the lives of those we serve and linger there sharing the love of Christ. And I remain grateful for clients who trust us with their stories. What a blessing to be a part of each story as God works!
