Today at Wells Fargo I saw beady eyed Bill Montgomery going into the Wells Fargo building, probably to meet with his pal Joe Arpaio. Bill walks like hes marching in uniform, arms moving back and forth with his beady eyes looking straight ahead. But I know the reason he looks straight ahead, because his darting eyes are taking in the whole periphery. So hes seeing the signs, but his military like mentality has to pretend that hes the guy in control. Speaking of guys in control, another local yokel walked into the Wells Fargo building, soft ball pitcher and Arizona Republic lap dog reporter JJ Hensley. JJ may be preparing a soft pitch for the new community outreach director, the daughter of local pitch man with a soft latino accent, Alberto Gutier will be getting a bunch of wanna be vendidos together to lunch with Joe. Another effort to rehabilitate Joe with the Spanish language community. JJ is part of the media that laps up with Joe at lunches. JJ doesnt look over at the signs as he walks past me, hes too internal to make a nod. Im pretty familiar with this kind of attitude. So the visitors shown in pictures below are people who have had first hand experience with the abuses in Arpaios jails. The first picture of the guy holding the Arpaio Were Watching sign asked to hang out with me and I then asked if I could take his picture. Then he told me his experiences. He said he lives up near 16th St and Northern and that he was downtown today for Court. He had been in Arpaio s jail several times, I didnt ask about why he was there. He said every time I got out of jail, I had scabies (from Wikipedia caused by the mite Sarcoptes scabiei. The mite is a tiny and usually not directly visible parasite which burrows under the hosts skin, causing intense allergic itching. most often transmitted by direct skin-to-skin contact,) The second picture is of a woman who was in the process of going to jail for parole violations. She told me she violated an Order of Protection. She had a blackened eye that she got during a run in with the man who had an order of protection against her. We had some common background, she told me she was from Dana Point California and my grandparents had a home in Dana Point since I was born, so we talked about the old days in Dana Point before there was a harbor. She had some bad years and now she is recurrent in the jails. She has lots of personal trauma from her bad days. Joe Arpaio preys upon people who are down and out. Like ol KB of the Anarchists says the only thing you can count on when youre down is that someone will be there to kick you again. Arpaios black Chryler 300 limousine turned the corner in front of me today. The vehicle didnt slow down or honk, so the old fart may not have been in the vehicle. I think that he gets some kind of kick out of seeing my signs. Who knows ?
