Today, at last, the clouds have arrived in abundance. Niki and I dashed out to Big Cypress National Preserve to photograph the magnificence of their beauty. The walk out to the scene I wanted to photograph was quite a ways...yes, thats me in the second photo...that small white dot. I had a great time photographing with the digital (could never have made it out that far in the heat & humidity with my large format). I took photos from several different angles as Niki kept saying, Its going to rain...I can hear it coming. Yep. It was coming and came in a grew down pour. A new lesson to learn...large format cameras can get wet, but digital ones cant. I hid my camera under my hat as the rain poured down and we made our way through the high grass back to the car.
