In May, Wal-Mart announced a plan, to hire 100,000 veterans over the next five years. The Government Accountability Office (GAO) recently released a report on the Department of Labor’s efforts to reach Native American veterans. According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, American Indian and Alaska Native veterans have the lowest rate of employment among ethnic minorities.
