Today at the 10:15 traditional worship service we heard about the Old Testament prophet Habakkuks dream. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. also had dreams. You probably have heard of them... I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, sons of former slaves and sons of former slave-owners will be able to sit down at the table of brotherhood ... I have a dream my four little children will live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today! I have a dream that someday 11 a.m. will not be the most segregated hour of the week; that Black and white will live in the same neighborhoods and really get to know each other. The vision of the End and dreams of a just society go hand-in-hand.
