Today at work I saw a young girl, 16 or 17 who was pregnant. So needless to say it was heck of a #tbt. It really made me think about that time in my life, as I watched her walk around the gym at her high school struggling to keep her head up and hesitant to look me in the eye, I wanted to hug her and tell her that she is going to be ok and that her age is not an indication of how good of a mother she will be, that its true...all the odds are stacked against you, yes! You gonna fight a little harder and for a while people will doubt you and question you., BUT you are already stronger than most, because your looking your situation in the eye and refusing to back down. I wanted to tell her that there is no guarantee that your baby will be healthy or that they will fit into societys mold of perfection, but I CAN guarantee that when you look at them..you will see perfection and you will love this person so much that it will hurt and it will take your breathe away. They are going to motivate you to do more that you ever thought you were capable of. You will see this little person and suddenly understand your purpose in life. They will be the most beautiful thing youll ever lay your eyes on. I wanted to tell her all the things I wish someone would have told me. This is a picture of the first time I saw my baby. I didnt expect it or understand it, but connection between our souls was instant and I knew then that when he fights I fight and when hes too tired to fight I still fight! That we were created for each other. It didnt matter how old I was or what the statics said.. We were going to make it. #love #tbt #littlebear #sixteenandprego #mymission
