Today, besides taking care of Steve, I am CLEANING. Like, really cleaning. I have let the house go and it is just embarrassing. What motivates you to suddenly get off your exhausted ass and start becoming a mad cleaning machine? Well, let me tell ya. It was my downstairs toilet. I dont usually USE the downstairs bathroom (except to do my hair before work) and I certainly never lift the seat. I noticed that the entire bathroom was looking rather... well, icky, so I decided to just spruce it up a bit. Thats when I made the mistake of lifting the seat on the toilet. OH MY GOSH!!! Ew! After seeing that mess, it was ON like Donkey Kong. First thing I did was ask the Hubby if we had gasoline and a blowtorch. We didnt, so I had to resort to more normal cleaning methods. I am pretty sure the toilet is now sterile enough to eat out of (not that I would), but lesson learned. I will NEVER go for more than a few days without checking the state of our toilet. Ugh. So far, I have (with help from Steve), cleaned up the computer room. That was bad enough. (Not as bad as the toilet.. but, still it needed serious attention). I have done three loads of laundry so far and done a load of dishes. LOTS of work to do. Wish me luck. I am just praying that I dont pass out from exhaustion before this is over. There hasnt been much sleep since Steves surgery.
