Today.. by Meredith Monroe -age 39 Today- following a delightful day of work that involved being screwed over multiple times by technology. ..and no time to eat....I managed to sit idling in 2 hours of traffic to go a mere 10 miles in Houston.. forced into a mall (against my will and genetic code) DURING HOLIDAY SEASON....was too exhausted to stop and eat.. was starving .. and wound up at my hotel with the Worlds Worst excuse for 80 dollar room service in which they took the liberty of omitting my broccolini ...... AND now have finally managed to bite a chunk out of the underside of my own tongue , leaving what looks like a crime scene on my linen dinner napkin. In other (more uplifting) today events. ... I am pleased to announce to my friend Crystal, that the wine shipment notification(S): -have started coming -are in abundance -are from places I dont recall -have invoices that are a tad foggy -I think we MIGHT have had fun in Sonoma (apparently) -this all sounds wittier in my head Heres to First World Problems,bloody hotel linen, missing broccolini, a chunk of tongue,a years supply of wine in route...and 6 cities in one week!!!Cheers!
