Today faced standstill traffic jam while coming office at 9-35 hrs. A procession of Tribal people going through Bentinck Street towards Esplanade. I was just in front of K C Das Shop. Procession was at its tail 20/25 ft to go followed by Kolkata Police Van and Police staff. One or two person just reached the right flank of the procession, 4/5 Tribal youth ran to them with Tangi and big and thick wood-stick shouting in Tribal Languages. Earlier I heard about this incident. Today I experienced the same. Police/Administration/Human Rights Activists are you listening?
