Today, for the first day in my life, I opened my eyes to a world without my Mum in it. This is something that I am unfamiliar with, she was always the constant in my life, through illness, heartbreak, marriage, childbirth, grief and triumph, Mum was always there. We now have to figure how our world works without her in it, its like and integral piece of our family machine is missing, yet we have to keep going, to keep loving and living, to laugh and to cry, to savour every moment of this precious life she gave to us. By God its so hard!
