Today has been a great day! Attended a beautiful homegoing celebration for William Babro Brewer and left feeling so uplifted. The eulogy delivered by Pastor Smith was so uplifting and powerful and after watching my friend, Pat, the sweet sweet spirit of the Lord was even more captivating and was just another confirmation of what a wonder Jesus really is. There is just something about that faith, hope, belief, and trusting in the Lord that will sustain you in your most darkest hours. Came home feeling so good, rested for a while and have now finished cooking dinner. OAN: I get so much joy from friends and acquaintances that stop me and tell me how inspiring my posts are to them and how they so look forward to me posting my dinner menus. LOL Its good to know that just the smallest things you say uplifts someone in a positive manner. Here goes Jane Goodloe - todays menu (Cubed Mini Steaks w/Mushroom Gravy, Turnip Greens, Yams, Blackeye Peas, Broccoli Cornbread and Old-Fashioned Skillet Sugar Cake (yep baked in a skillet - pics posted when cooled) with Vanilla Cream Sauce.
