Today has been a heck of a day!! 1. Dad has surgery to put in a tunnel port in his chest so that they can start dialysis now while he is in the hospital. 2. The batteries are completely dead on the dually and the brand new battery charger didnt charge them after being on all night long. 3. Deka has to keep the batteries over night to try to get them to charge. 4. We get home and Kevins cat still has not come home. Those are the high points of the not so good stuff for today. Now for the good points!! 1. Dad came through surgery good and had a dialysis treatment with no apparent ill effects. 2. We traded for some really cool Hot Wheels today. 3. So far, the Hogs are beating Texas. 4. I was able to wake up and live another day. The year is winding down. There has been some rough things this year. I fear next year has more to come. Be blessed for each day you make it through because you are not promised the next. Happy New Year to all of my family and friends even though it is a few days early!!
