Today has been an amazing and wonderful day. For many reasons, too. One thing Ive been doing is rehearsing autumn/fall seasonal songs to perform during this months concertizing. Im also working on new songs to present at some point, some duets with a very dear and talented friend....which led me to this: Donnie McClurkin & Yolanda Adams - The Prayer I love this song, it is very moving, and it is a very difficult song to sing well....both vocally, playing on the piano at the same time....and expressing the poignance of the lyric. This version by Yolanda Adams and Donnie McClurkin has blown me away.....just cant top this performance. Yolandas voice is exquisite to my ears, Donnies too. Wow! I like it better than Celine Dion and Andre Bocellis rendition....and it is incredible. I just warned to share this blessing of their voices and talents, and a poignant message to humanity.
