Today has been such an emotional day for me... Like every Wednesday I have 2 of my regular clients ms. Francis & Ms. Verona But today wasnt like every Wednesday today I have discovered that I have made a huge difference in this elderly ladies that the 1 hour they spend with me every Wednesday is precious time to them That they dont only see me as their hairdresser but they see me as part of their family.. Ms. Francis was on a car accident and she didnt show up for the past 2 weeks for her appointments today she came in hurting and everything but didnt care if she was in pain... She grabbed my hand and told me with tears in her eyes that the only thing she could think of was that if something worse would of happened to her that she would of never see me again and get her hair done by me or have the opportunity of saying bye.. That deeply touched my heart to know that each Wednesday no matter if they are feeling sick or in pain they are looking forward to see me and getting their hair done by me.. Today I also got the opportunity to surprise ms. Verona with a cake and all of us singing happy birthday to her... Having the opportunity of celebrating with her , her 93rd birthday makes me feel so special and seeing a smile on their faces makes me love more what I do and keep going.. This ladies are an inspiration to my life and have such an important place in my heart they were my first clients when I got out on the floor and Im never going to forget them.. My journey on cheeks is almost over and that makes me so sad just to think about it tears are already coming out of my eyes... Its going to be so hard saying goodbye to my clients & instructors and my cheeks sisters when that time comes... But I want you guys to know that I wouldnt change any of this memories for nothing love all of you guys!!! Here is a lil video of all of us singing happy birthday to ms. Verona..
