Today, history writes that at 5:30 in the afternoon the plane with Pope Francis on board touches down at Villamor Airbase in Manila Philippines. Few minutes later, church bells ring. He walks on the red carpet while the national anthem of the Philippines and Vatican are sung. Millions of Roman Catholics are surely very glad on this very historic occasion. Many Filipinos are ecstatic of his arrival. For them, having him is a great blessing. To some, he is a symbol of hope, a testament of our faith, an edifice of unconditional love --- a thread to cling on towards eternity.
