Today i have a rant: I was in the local supermarket this weekend with a friend and her child and ran into a moral issue. Her kid is a wild out of control 3 yr old who was bound and determined to fall outta the cart. Since she couldnt seem to be bothered to correct his behavior i grabbed his shirt front between my thumb and forefinger bring him to a halt. Once steady i sat the kid on his butt and told him to stay seated. He waited a few seconds to test whether or not i was serious. When realizing i was he began screaming at the top of his lungs that i had pinched him. As i was explaining what had just transpired he started screaming louder. I was about to call BS and ask where the mark was, pinching leaves marks, when my friend picks him up and tells me "he is never going to like you"! And once she has him over her shoulder and rubbing his back lamenting his suffered injustices the little snot looks at me, grins, sticks his tongue out at me, and proceeds to begin his tyrant again. She bought him candy to help him feel better. Am i the only one who see this as condoning and rewarding bad behavior? m/ HELLCAT m/
