Today i went to Lake Terrace and Tastebud with my fiance. here is my opinion on them: Lake Terrace: we reached there at 6.45 pm. the staff were very much cordial. and the place is simply awesome. we always prefer rooftop places, and we really enjoyed there. however, we ordered onion fries and beef sizzling as starters, and chicken red curry and grilled jumbo prawn as main dishes. **onion fries were average, nothing special. but the amount was good. **beef sizzling wasnt up to mark. it was just fried cheddar beef which was very dry. it couldve been better. **chicken red curry was the worst of all. even chicken soup served at any local shop or tong er dokan is better than this. it wasnt spicy or anything mentioned on the menu, rather it was just boiled chicken pieces floating on broth. it spoiled both our taste and mood. **finally the grilled jumbo prawn!! i was very amazed seeing the amount as they served 5 pieces of jumbo prawn, but i was even more disappointed when i tasted them. i cant explain what was wrong, but it wasnt something i expected :/ the total price including 15% vat and 10% SC was 2065 Tk. cant remember individual price :( Service: 9/10 Food: 4/10 Tastebud: with a lot of disappointment we moved to Tastebud for dessert, but it didnt let us down! the place is very nice and quiet (may be because it was 10.15) and the staff were cordial. we ordered oreo cheesecake and tiramisu slice. both of them were AWESOME!!!!! this is undoubtedly the best place for cheesecake and i will go there again. total bill was 765 Tk including 15% vat and 10% SC. totally worth every penny :) Service: 9/10 Food: 15/10 :D
