Today in 1914 20,000 of our men and woman left our coast line to Europe, on their way to Egypt for training Im sure there must have been mixed feelings about what lay ahead. Your memory and your acts is what helped shape our young country, thank you for your gift of life. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
