Today in KinKs history: January 6, 1964 A song titled Thats All I Want is published by Kassner Music Rays Davies first written-for-hire composition. (Revenge, filed a couple of weeks earlier on December 18, 1963, was Rays very first published song). Thats What I Want is put into a bank of songs that Larry Page hopes to shop around to other artists, to make money off of Ray the songwriter even if his band -- still named the Ravens -- doesnt pan out.
