Today in Sikh young generation there is an imperative problem that is many male youth have been cutting their hair, trimming beards and not wearing Turbans. All these practices are against the ‘Sikh Rehat Maryada’ / Sikh code of conduct. A notable cause for this is because Turbaned Sikhs don’t feel confident with their appearance and feels that they can’t look attractive and make a mark in their carrier. It’s noteworthy that in Bollywood industry, nearly 80% of actors and performers are Punjabis. How it would have been the matter of pride for all of us if they were proper Sikhs. Now it’s time to guide and encourage the Sikh youth to follow the principles of Sikhism. So we came up with an idea of making a first TV reality show Sikh Riders in which we will give the Sikh youth a platform to showcase their talent & skills without breaking the Sikh Rehat Maryada.
