In class we are separated by tribes I am in the Hutus tribe and we had to be able to express what we understood about what this song means. This song means to me that Hip hop was supposed to be a movement of liberation of slaves being free, stopping violence,and crime and so on. However hip hop started a slavery of its own by woman being slaves to to men like how slaves were back in the day.
