Today in the mail, Linus, Mike and I received the most precious unexpected gift that lifted our spirits! Thank you Miss Aly Lim! Your thoughtfulness and kind gesture couldnt have come at a better time. Most of you dont know we have 6 foster failures in our home, Allie our Chihuahua, Mamie Beth our Boston Terrier, Leo our mix breed of Bulldog, Pug and Beagle. SMEDLEY our Olde English Bulldogge, Triumph, aka T Dawg, T Dawggie, T and the T Man who is a tripod Okde English Bulldogge and LINUS our English Bulldog. This last year has been a nightmare for these pawrents. We have T who has ingested several items from SOS pads, underwear, socks, towels, dish cloths, etc which has lead to multiple surgeries to remove items, recently almost dying....and who now has injured his stub causing him much pain. Linus is fighting lymphoma. Allie fighting mammary cancer, a grade 6 heart murmur and doggie dementia. Mamie Beth has had a tumor practically appear over night on her left side, which is feared cancerous. Smedley had a negative reaction to immunization which has lead to aggressive behavior issues toward other animals. The last 14 months has taken a toll on these PAWRENTS. We are spent in emotion, energy and strength. Aly your surprise brought smiles and tears of comfort. Most times we feel alone in this journey of sick children, but know we have found a family in BWSN. All the comments, encouragement, etc help us to stay focused and endure the pain ALL of us feel when our children face their own health, physical, emotional scars of being tossed away and other emotional struggles. Thank you Jesus for these people, each of which you have designed to LOVE and care for your beautiful four-legged creations! We love you ALL and APPRECIATE YOU!
