Today is Constitution Day. Might I take this opportunity to propose a new constitutional convention? Some changes Id like to see: 1. The establishment of a federal elections commission, to: - standardize election proceedings nationwide - maintain voter rolls (no ID needed) - draw congressional districts 2. Public funding of federal elections 3. Creation of an independent committee, with subpoena power, to investigate and punish corruption and unethical behavior in Congress and the Executive 4. Abolition of the legacy of Citizens United and Hobby Lobby 5. Abolition of the Second Amendment 6. Adoption of the ERA 7. Adoption of ENDA 8. Abolition of the filibuster 9. Creation of universal health care
