Today is Election Day! I pray Heavenly Father, that today Your Will will be done. I pray that all those seeking office across this country will be gracious in victory or defeat. I pray that the people will let their voices be heard and that this Nation will fall on its face and cry out to You, the only one who can bring us back to the right path. I pray that those who are victorious will immediately seek your face and guidance in the decisions they have to make between now and January 1st. Most of all God, I pray for those who are victims, those who have been beaten and abused, those who have been cast down without hope! I pray that they will see a new day dawning, a new sense of hope and relief on the horizon! We need you God, we need you now! Win or lose, I vow to always put you first and those around me second. I promise to continue the fight against those who seek to kill, steal and destroy! And I promise to praise You, no matter what! In Jesus name, Amen.
