THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Keep your eyes on the long-term, not the short-term. MINI BIBLE STUDY FOR THE DAY Our adversary, Satan, the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4) and the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2), seeks to achieve his purposes by trying to focus our priorities on the short-term and self, instead of the long-term and God. Of course, you would think it would be common sense to focus on the long-term since Satan can offer only short-term answers as he is only short-term himself. in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving . . . —2 Corinthians 4:4 . . . you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, . . .—Ephesians 2:2 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone . . . —Revelation 20:10 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.
