Today is National Black Dog Day. People bypass black dogs in shelters. Fewer get adopted and many more black dogs are put down than other colors. That makes NO sense. A dogs color does not indicate its nature or temperament. Dont bypass those black dogs if youre going to adopt. You could be missing out on the love of your life. Weve had 5, and theyve all been wonderful. I love my black dogs.
