Today is Saturday in YongIn, South Korea. The students here are studying for final exams at least some part of the day. They work very hard. They also play. One student has read Harry Potter in three languages, English, Korean and Thai. They think my impression of the Dobby character is very funny. We have had a busy day. At least one student had to go to hospital. There are 90 very busy and active boys and girls here. There is always someone who has to go to hospital. This and other things keeps Mr. Beck, the school manager, very busy. I have studied Korean lessons today on my I Pod. It was money and math today. Yesterday, Mr. Beck and I went to Suwon City to apply for my foreign resident card. I will have to wait another 2-3 weeks for my FRC and cell phone(yikes). Suwon City is not far from YongIn. I think we went South???? I took photos of the apartments and streets there. The streets are wider than in YongIn and there are more parks and park like places. The prayer meeting last night was very interesting. I was surprised by it, pleasantly. It was a combination of tradition meets contemporary as both kinds of music were used in the service. There is also an orchestra made up of students. I am really going to like this. I hope to join in the music very soon. I should have taken some photos, next time. The last two pictures are of the train/subway stations and the above ground tracks. The stations are built off the ground to allow for traffic to flow under them. South Korea is a country that is smaller than Minnesota. Space is very valuable. Thus, the apartments buildings that rise high in the sky.
