Today is #SmallBusinessSaturday, a day to celebrate the small business owners of America. Entrepreneurs and privately owned companies are the backbone of our country and a steady part of the American workforce. This is why I work to pass legislation that provides more opportunities for American businesses. Here in Florida, we need jobs, not jargon. I understand what it takes to run a business and prepare a payroll because I owned a business for 20 years. By cutting government red tape, businesses can retain more money to hire more employees and provide pay raises.
