Today is Thanksgiving, a time in which we come together to be thankful for what God has blessed us with. Some of you will be thankful for the things you have this year which you didnt have last year. You will pull up to the table today with your family and over dinner you will share heart felt stories with your children on why they should be thankful for what they have. You will tell stories about how so many people have less than what they have, and the reason for this day. Those same children will watch you go from sharing stories, to getting ready to go to the Black Friday’s Midnight sales. They will watch you dress up like a football player before a game. They watch you putting on layers of clothes, mapping out plans of attack, and preparing hot drinks to keep warm while you wait in the long lines. And, some of you still can’t figure out what’s wrong with your children and why they’re not thankful for what they have. I mean you buy them this and that and they still want more. Wonder where did they get that from???
