Today is a benchmark day of sorts in the rocky road to completion of the more door behemoth project in our garage. The glass is finally in the remaining rear door. Like the right side glass, the window crank (yes Virginia, we roll up own own windows) requires some effort. In spite of a thorough cleaning and lubricating, it still requires a firm effort. I am attributing this to new window channel throughout. Today, I rip into the door latches and subsequent locks on the front doors. Once that is done, the front door glass goes in (I hope). 2014 will not be the year we hit the road, but I sure hope its next year.
