Today is a blessing Fortunately or unfortunately, we really never know what tomorrow will bring. When we open the newspaper or check The Net and read about someone who passed away or massive tragedy that happened we begin to realize that just waking up in the morning is a blessing. We live in a world of change and chaos. A lot of it well never understand.....but that’s okay. As long as we DO understand that every morning when we wake up it is an opportunity to experience another day.....AND to do something meaningful with it. Make it count! Hutchs Funnies: Yep, I once was a judge. It just so happened that one time, on the same day, another judge and myself both were stopped for speeding. Being honorable judges, we agreed theres no point in calling the state Supreme Court for a visiting judge; wed just go ahead and hear each others case. So the next morning, the other judge took the bench and I sat at counsel table. I admitted I was guilty, and the other judge suspended the fine and court costs for me. They we switched places, the other judge pleaded guilty as well, but I fined him $200 plus all court costs. For some unknown reason he was exceedingly upset: I suspended your fine and costs and you go and give me the maximum! Of course I, QUITE RIGHTLY, responded to the guilty party: Well, look at the increase weve just had for this crime. SOMEBODY has to do something about it! 😇 😇 😇 1. Make sure you or a loved one has scheduled your/her MAMMOGRAM 2. Remember, MAKE A MEMORY TODAY AND SHARE IT. 3. Remember, Vestibular Exercise/DANCE for your Balance. 4. Remember, Regular Exercise for your Health. 5. Remember, Portion Control for your Life. 6. Remember, Social Well Being for your Happiness. Tip: Add Fitness to your Daily Routine. If you find you cant devote enough time to getting in shape as you would like, there are still plenty of ways you can keep your body active while going about your normal routine. Try to use stairways instead of elevators whenever possible. If you can walk there or take a bike, let your body burn energy instead of taking your car. If you are driving, instead of wasting time looking for a good spot, park further away and walk a couple extra blocks. Turn your housework into a fitness challenge: Sweep and mop using as much energy as possible, exaggerating your arm movements. Fold your clothes and do a couple sets of squats at the same time. Whatever youre doing try and incorporate in some sort of routine that gets your muscles working and heart rate moving. And if you absolutely cant miss your favorite show on TV, try doing some sit-ups and push-ups while you watch or during commercials. Have a Blessed today!!! 💓
