Today is a busy day ... #SOTU, State of the State, the big four at Detroit Econ Club and the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber Legislative Forum. With all the other events going on, it was great to see the turnout at the Chamber and to see so many friends. Speaking to the Chamber was my first major speech in my new role and I could not think of better place to do so. Thanks to Mayor OReilly for his generous introduction and to Mayors Pederson and Stack and Supervisors Glaab and Linko for being there as well. I also enjoyed meeting with the students ahead of time, who were all juniors and members of the SWCRC Youth Leadership Council. The SWCRC does much to promote our local economy and create good jobs for the Downriver region. Thanks to them for all they do! D2
