Today is a day of mixed emotions!!! Happy, because your Graduation Day is finally here! You have reached the end of your careers at Wesleyan Academy, and the beginning of your College Careers! Sad, because life, as we knew and experienced it together, here at Wesleyan, has inevitably come to an end!!! Life will never be the same for me, since I grew accustomed to seeing you every day, hugging you every day, kissing you every day, scolding you every day, laughing with you every day, and even crying with you some days!!!!! As one famous philosopher once said: Life has taught me that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. I agree and disagree; I will never forget all that we said to each other, I will never forget what we accomplished, and most importantly, I will never, ever, ever, forget how you made me feel!!!!! I will always be proud to say, as one famous Yankee said: Today, I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of this earth! You will always be my daughters, your children will be my grandchildren!!! I will always celebrate your triumphs and I will certainly, always be there to pick you up when ever you fall!!!! Things will never be the same again! Thats a part of life we can never avoid, but always remember that you proved to everyone that you could conquer adversity on the basketball court!!! When all the odds were stacked against you, time and time again, you rose like the Lady Eagles that you are! You flew HIGHER, FASTER, and STRONGER, than anyone ever imagined you would!!!! Thats what life is all about!!!! As you embark on a new journey, always remember: Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
