Today is a day of sweet reflection for me. It was 45 years ago tonight that MJ & I stood before God & these witnesses. Only The Lord knew the steps of the journey ahead of us...the three if us. My heart over-flows with gratitude. You all know enough to know that every day was not bliss and every season was not easy but oh my goodness! The cup of joy is the ever over flowing cup of these years! When you meet and fall in love in high school you both have a lot of work to be done on self and lot of growing to be done in the art of thinking like a couple. When you are this far along in a marriage it is Wisdom that calls you to look back at the great and even greater times and glance back at the hard and even harder times and be grateful for both for the fruit produced even from the struggles. I am ever grateful that MJ wanted to do the marriage journey with me! I am honored to be known as his wife. Thank you MJ for all the joys of this journey. Thank You Lord for every single treasure...seen & unseen as we continue...more on this subject next August 1st!!!
