Today is a day to celebrate going on my first date with my husband but it is also a day to remember Iris Sandham the coolest, bravest, funniest and most competitive granny ever! She passed in 2005 due to complications from cancer treatments. She survived breast cancer twice and her third battle was a brain tumor. She was a fighter! She was determined to pitch horseshoes again and I am sure she is making ringers with the our great Lord and she may even be teaching Him a thing or two. She was the glue to our family and I wish she was still here every day. She loved everyone and welcomed you into her home. Love you Granny.
