Today is a great day, besides missing the connecting flight by AMERICAN AIRLINES. One thing is for sure, our journey is a long one and will continue as long as we have to in order to beat this cancer. Cade sure is a happy little man, and he makes it through each of his treatments like a trooper. Yesterday, Cade received lasers to both eyes; more extensive to the right as it houses multiple tumor sites. The doctor says it like this. Everywhere we laser....the tumor/s die, it is just a very small area with lesser damage to the internal eye. It is a BALANCING act. If too much lasering, it could cause significant bleeding inside the eyeball which is not good. If too little of lasering no affect on the tumors. This last treatment completely wiped out on of the small tumors in the right eye and have continued the further chip away at the rest. No new growths noted. Excellent progress still. We are slated to come back to New York December 9th-11th, 2014. We love you Cade, and thank you to all those who have been there for us.....We are almost there!!!
