Today is a hectic day. I begin my day as early as 4am, trying to get everything prepared and making sure everything is in order for this morning event of I Want To Touch A Dog The clay wash for sertu was my biggest priority. But this small event in the afternoon is as big and important as well. Today, we relocated this family to a better home and environment. Pak Nawi 56 and his wife Ning both hail from Kelantan. They have 5 children, age from 2, 5, 10, 14 and 16 y.o. Two of the eldest left school to work as their family is poor. Pak Nawi being uneducted works odd job from being a gardener, security guard, parking attendant and anything that can help him to feed his family. They rented a room for RM25 a day at Lorong Haji Taib in Chow Kit for the last one month. They do not have any other place to go. Their 3rd son has not been schooling for last 6 months as they were moving around from one place to another. Due to Pak Nawis health and age, we offered him and his wife to be the caretaker at Wakaf - Desa Fahmi, Klang. The wife can cook and he can help to guard the place and the children there. The children was so happy when I break the news I am taking them to Wakaf on Sunday and they look forward to it. Both husband and wife were happy as they were given a better place to live, a shelter and a place they can call home. Wakaf Desa Fahmi now has 6 children age 2-10 y.o, 5 male and 1 female. The 2 year old girl need clothings and Ning need long sleeve tops as well. We hope that this family can be happy there and after this we can start bringing more children into this place.
