Today is a new day - thankfully ! I woke up yesterday tired and cranky unlike me but Steve Ritchie may say different lol. Poor Cameron was the first victim. He got a full blown lecture and had to listen to be ranting because he desperately wanted into the bathroom while I was trying to get ready. Steve & Leah were left wondering what he had done. When I explained to Steve he informed me that the crime didnt deserve the rant so public apology to my lovely son Cameron Scates. On reflection I guess needing a poo kind of takes priority over make up LOL đ Victim no 2 was a taxi driver in Manchester who was the biggest knob even though it was on account ! Almost a row with him until I asserted myself and told him to shut it đĄ All this before 11am. I think someone must have rang ahead to the clinic with a warning because when we arrived there was a lady playing the Harp in the waiting area. Soothing music and time to chill before chemo. The volunteers who offer their time/skills to support these places are amazing. She is just one of many that Ive come across here. As a volunteer myself for ChildLine I know the difference it makes to these valuable services.
