Today is a new day. We are going to fill this day with confidence in our decisions facing new experiences. Today we get moved to an acute rehabilitation center. Here bradin will regain his ability to control his body movement. The rehab center is set up very similar to a hospital, including medicines, nurses, technicians and a visit from the doc every day. There is a schedule set up for him. He will join the rest of the patients for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a dinning hall. He will have 3 separate hour long sessions in the gym with a specialist. One of the side effects from the strokes are that bradin is and will be very, very tired for a few months. A short trip to the restroom leaves him winded. I know that in between his work outs at the rehab center, he will probably need to sleep. With that being said, we have really enjoyed seeing everyone that has visited and we appreciate all the love and support more than you know, but if you absolutely need to come see him, please keep the visit brief. Respectfully, for the next couple of days, other than his mom and dad, maybe visits should be excluded all together just to be on the safe side. Over stimulation creates dizziness and nausea and that is the last thing we want him to feel is sick... Again we cannot express how thankful we are for all of the support.
